대지는 앞으로 금강이 흐르고 뒤편으로는 장군산이 받쳐주는 자연의 명당이다. 주변은 저층의 단독주택들이 있어 조망과 채광을 방해하는 것이 없이 시선이 확 트인 개방된 공간이다.깊은 처마와 야외 데크로 거실, 식당과 마당의 중간영역을 만들어 가족들의 휴식공간을 구성하였다. 다락이 없는 거실은 경사 천장으로 높게 계획하고, 2층의 다락은 넓은 수납공간으로 활용하였다. 입면은 저층이지만 자연적인 뒷 산의 형태를 적용하였다.
The site is a natural spot with Geumgang River flowing in the front and Janggunsan Mountain in the back. There are low-rise detached houses in the surrounding area, so it is an open space where the eyes are clear without obstructing the view and lighting.
The deep eaves and outdoor deck create an intermediate area between the living room, dining room and yard, creating a resting space for the family. The living room without an attic is planned to be high with a sloped ceiling, and the attic on the second floor is used as a large storage space. Although the elevation is low, the natural shape of the back mountain was applied.
