The surrounding area consists of apartment complexes and low-rise factories, and the existing main building was used after taking over the factory building and renovating it. The site had a relatively slight slope and three roads intersected at the main entrance, so various approaches were made. The most important thing to consider when planning was to make the entrance from the main road and the building well known. This flow of entry divides one mass to give each function, and the division of the mass naturally forms a space that embraces all flows, stays, and comes and goes.
The size of the temple is about 1,000 pyeong, and the grand sanctuary can accommodate about 700 people. In addition, the space is formed by an auditorium, a meeting room, a teaching room, an office, a priest's house, and a convent. Due to the nature of the convent, the location of the priest's house and the convent at the time of the design was changed to the current location through consultation. @HOONARCH

주변에는 아파트군과 저층의 공장들로 이루어져 있고 기존의 본당건물은 공장건물을 인수한 후 개보수하여 사용하고 있었다. 대지는 비교적 약간의 경사가 있었고 주출입 부분에서 3개의 도로가 교차되어 있어 다양한 접근이 이루어지는 상황이었다. 계획을 할 때 가장 고려되었던 것은 주도로에서의 진입과 건물을 잘 인지 시키도록 하는 것이었다. 이러한 진입의 흐름은 하나의 mass를 분할하여 각각의 기능을 부여하게 하였고, 그 mass의 분할은 모든 흐름을 포용하고, 머물며, 오가는 공간을 자연스럽게 형성하게 되었다.
성전의 규모는 약 1,000평으로 대성전은 약 700명을 수용할 수 있는 공간이다. 그 외에 강당, 만남의 방, 교리실, 사무실, 사제관, 수녀원등으로 공간이 형성되어 있다. 수녀원의 특성상 노출을 피하고 수도하는 공간이 요구되었기 때문에 현상설계 당시의 사제관과 수녀원 위치가 협의를 거쳐 현재의 위치로 뒤바뀌게 되었다. @HOONARCH
