대지는 서귀포시 동측의 해안가에 접해 있는 주변에 귤농장이 산재해 있는 주택가이다. 후면 도로로 진입하고 전면에는 넓은 정원이 있다.
주말 주택으로 원룸 형식으로 계획된 평면은 내부 안에서 단차를 두고 경사 천장을 두어 단조로움을 피했다. 거실과 주방은 통합하여 넓은 공간을 배치하고 계단을 통해 상부에 다락공간을 두어 다양한 공간으로의 활용도를 높였다. 침실은 작업실과 겸하여 일을 할 수 있는 장소로도 사용된다.
건물 양측으로의 데크공간은 외부의 조망을 느끼며 쉴 수 있는 보너스 같은 공간이다.
The plan, which was planned as a one-room house as a weekend house, avoids monotony by placing steps inside and a sloped ceiling. The living room and kitchen are integrated to create a wide space, and the attic space is placed at the top through the stairs to increase the utilization of various spaces. The bedroom is also used as a place to work as well as a workroom.
The deck space on both sides of the building is a bonus space where you can relax while feeling the outside view.
